Today, many people are not inspired and in action on their dreams and goals. Many people feel stuck and powerless when it comes to manifesting what they want. Have you ever heard the saying “Some day… when I have XYZ… then I’ll be happy and satisfied”.
If you looked on a calendar, you will not find “some day” anywhere on it because there is no such day as “some day.” Living from the “someday” mindset will not only kill your dreams and goals, but it is causing many people to be unhappy, frustrated, and experiencing lack in their lives.
I used to be among the people who lived from the “someday” mindset, and then I discovered that I have the ability to create my life as I choose to live it. And guess what, you have the same ability. So if you feel stuck in your life and you are living from the “someday” mindset, I would like to share a simple, yet powerful strategy designed to short-circuit the steps to get you to manifesting what you want in life.
The Strategy
This strategy involves writing a one-year prophecy letter. If you are not currently experiencing the life you want, it’s time to stop living in the past, stop trying to fix yourself, stop worrying over what you are going to do to have more success and happiness. Stop looking at what didn’t work and start prophesizing about your future because what you focus on grows. Therefore, let’s get your mind focusing on what you want and off what isn’t working.
When you write a letter, write it in the present tense, and write it as if it is one year from now and you have achieved everything you wanted to achieve in the past year. Describe everything in detail. What will your family life be like? How much money will you make? How is your primary relationship (spouse or partner)?
Write this prophecy letter as if you are writing it to your best friends and you are looking back over the last year, and you are describing how amazing your life has been. Tell your best friends about everything and everyone that is important to you:
Family
Primary relationship (spouse or partner)
Physical health
Mental/emotional
Business
Finance
Social
Contribution
Recreation
Spiritual
In December 2007, I started implementing this strategy, and I achieve about 70 percent of what I wrote in my letter. So don’t cheat yourself by writing a small and safe prophecy. Be bold and write your letter from the perspective of “What if life was as good as it gets”.

I am on the beach in Maui, Hawaii with my wife. We are completing a gratitude walk as we watch the last sunset of the year. I am totally mesmerized at the surrounding beautiful, and I feel so grateful and blissful that tears of joy are welling in my eyes. As the sun dips over the horizon, I begin to reflect over the most magical year of my life. Why is so magical? Well, this is first year that I consciously lived from inspiration, joy and intention. As a result, miracle after miracle occurred in my life throughout the year, which exceeded all my expectations. During 2009 I transformed my life in so many positive ways.
First of all, I mediated daily for 30 minutes, and I connected to my Higher Self. My meditative experiences are so peaceful and powerful. As I connected to my Higher Self daily, my consciousness expanded, and I became aware of who I AM. I now realize that I AM an infinite being. I no longer allow my Ego to stop me from living a life that is filled with joy, prosperity, and inner peace. I now have an inner knowing that I AM the creator of my experiences. Each day, I received guidance from my Higher Self, and I followed those intuitive messages. As result, I was always in the right place at the right time. The people, circumstances, and opportunities miraculously appeared at the right time. I not only feel connected to my Higher Self, but I connect to everyone I meet. People are attracted to my new-founded magnetic, charismatic, gregarious personality. When people are in my presence, I inspire them without even saying a word because they can feel my vibes of joy and blissfulness.
As you can imagine, this made me feel great most days. When I did have “bad” days, those “bad” days were better than most people GREAT days. My life is perfect and I know all is well. Although my life is perfect, I know that I must grow because nothing stays the same. We are either growing or dying.
As a result of this growing, I left my corporate job, and I started working fulltime on my internet company. My internet company has really taken off, and visitor traffic to this website has grown to over 500,000 visitors a month, and my Opt-in list now has over 20,000 subscribers. But even more amazing, I am easily and consistently making over $50,000 a month from internet marketing, and I worked less than 20 hours a week.
I now created content (articles, audios, and videos) for my website easily and joyously because my creativity center have been awakened. Content which use to take weeks to write and produce only takes days or even hours. When I write ebooks, ad copy or record audios and videos, it is as if my Higher Self gives me the right words in the right order. It is just amazing and I am blown away with the quality of my voice and writing style, and so are my customers and website visitors.
To help me manage my website, I attracted a wonder team who loves working with web technology. Not only are they knowledgeable, but we have an excellent working relationship.
With my new found prosperity, I have purchased and moved into my new 4500 sq. foot deep waterfront house. The most amazing thing about this house is that it just “came out of the blue” and I got a super deal on it. Most people just can’t believe I got such a good deal on this house, but I know it came from God, and I so am grateful.
Since my online business really exploded and my income dramatically increased, I implemented Harv Eker’s money management system using the following guidelines:
Financial Freedom Account (FFA) = 20% of net income
Long Term Savings For Spending (LTSS) = 10% of net income
Education (EDUC) = 10% of net income
Necessities (NEC) = 40% of net income
Play (Recreation) = 10% of net income
Give (Charity) = 10% of net income
This system has worked very well for me and has allowed to me to pay off all my debts except for my house. I even met an excellent investment advisor who helped me received over 20% return on my investments.
Not only have my business and finances improved, but my relationship with my wife is very blissful. Although we have been together for fourteen years, we act and feel like honeymooners. She is my best friend, and I am her best friend. I love her more today than any of time since we met. I didn’t believe it could get any better, but each day is better than the last.
Transformations not only occurred with my business and my relationship with my wife, but I transformed my body. Today I weigh 155 pounds and I am in excellent physical shape. I am full of energy, and I really love my wash-board abs. To get my body in shape, I worked out four times every week and I significantly reduced my calorie intake by eating portion side meals. I also replaced most sugar junk food with fresh fruits and vegetables. And the most amazing thing about my new eating habit is that it was easy to change, and I no longer eat to mask my emotional state. As a side benefit from being a physically fit person, I no longer have sleep apnea.
This year, I chose to live my vision to help people awaken to the power within. I am committed to helping people realize that they can choose to live an amazing life filled with joy, prosperity, and peace of mind, just as I do.
Well, that’s my year. I know it sounds unbelievable, but everything I wrote about occurred in my life 2009. When I accepted that I was an infinite being and stopped listening to my Ego, my life transformed in the blink of an eye. And guess what? It will only get better next year and every year thereafter.
