Many people read self-growth books, listen to personal develop audio courses, and attend wealth training seminars hoping to find the magic formula that will allow them to transform their lives to have wealth and happiness. They believe that if they do what the books, audio courses, or seminars suggest, they will have what they want and that having it automatically makes them into that successful person they always wanted to be.
Unfortunately, most people won’t do what they learned in the self-growth books, the audio courses, and the wealth seminars because it isn’t a natural thing for them to do. The doing of it, just doesn’t fit with the image of who they are.
For example, I had a client who attended a $9,000 real estate seminar. The seminar taught creative and proven marketing and prospecting strategies that would skyrocket her income; however, months later she was not achieving the level of success she desired. In fact, her sales were decreasing.
While working with her, I discovered that she had a fear of rejection, and this is fear was impacting what she was willing to do to be a successful real estate agent.
Even though the real estate seminar told her exactly what to do and how to do it, the new procedures were out of character for her because it wasn’t something she felt comfortable doing. Soon after the seminar ended, she was highly motivated to use some of them to improve her real estate sales, but the new procedures soon fell by the wayside for lack of follow through. And this occurred because of who she was being - a person who feared rejection.
In my assessment, the seminar instructors failed miserably in their job, because they never told her she would have transform who she was being if she was going to be successful using their strategies.
Although she wanted to Be a successful real estate agent, she was following the wrong manifestation process of DO/ HAVE/ BE. This is the same manifestation process that most people have been taught, but it is the wrong order to manifest what you desire. Not only is in the wrong order, but the Universe does not honor it because DO is not the first step in the manifesting process.
By telling us what to do, self-growth books, personal development audio courses, and wealth training seminars suggest that the manifesting order for any change in circumstances is DO / HAVE / BE. However, it just doesn’t work that way because they have the order backward. If you are not already Being that person, you will never be able to do what the authors/ instructors suggest until you change yourself into the person who will do those things as a result of who you are-not in spite of.
The Game of Life is set up so that we must grow in consciousness before you can have that better life you want. Having more requires a transformation, which is the first, not the last step, in the order of manifesting.
We must BE before we can DO, and DO before we can HAVE. The correct order of manifesting for us is BE / DO / HAVE. The real question in life is whether you will choose to Be or not to Be the one who has what you want from life.

Today is Independence Day here in the USA, and for many people, it is a day of celebration of our country’s freedom from England. On this day in 1776, America declared its independence and began an incredible experiment in controlling its own destiny.
Although it’s a great day to spend time with your family, attend a picnic, watch a parade, go to the beach, or watch fireworks, today is the perfect day to declare your freedom.
But freedom from what exactly?
- Freedom from the Rat Race where you work in a job doing what you do not enjoy.
- Freedom from financial constraints where you never have to
worry about paying your bills ever again because you have the money to pay for the experiences you desire in life.
- Freedom from a life filled with drudgery of just making a living.
- Freedom to do what you want, when you want to do it because you are not controlled by the 9 to 5 schedule.
Whether you are an America or not, it’s time to celebrate your financial freedom, or if you haven’t achieved it yet, it is time to declare it and go for it at full speed!
Remember, America declared it’s independence on July 4th, 1776; however, the world didn’t recognize America as a free nation until 1783. So, declare it for yourself now.
Once, you make this declaration, take action to BE that person. Release any negative beliefs that repels money from flowing to you, adopt a prosperous mindset, and take inspired action as ideas for flowing money comes to you. If you follow these steps of Be-Do-Have, before long, you will be well on your way to having financial freedom.
Have an exciting and inspiring day.

I believe it fair to say that most people desire to have prosperity and success. If this is true, why do so few people achieve it and continue to live well below their true potential? It occurs because they refuse to do what is required to change the results they are manifesting in their lives.
If you want to go from living a mediocre existence to living a thriving and prosperous life, there are many things you have to do. Big things like releasing the limiting beliefs and negative programming in your subconscious mind. Little things like making a decision to change, setting side time for self-development, doing affirmations, visualizing, and following through with inspired action.
However, let me tell you what I believe is the single most important thing you must do to change -
Release your attachment to your victim story!
If you are not currently living a prosperous life, you probably have a victim (”poor me“) story that keeps you trapped in your reality. A victim story is any excuse you might use to explain why you don’t already have everything you desire from life whether it is to be financial free, enjoying good health, experiencing a blissful relationship with your primary partner, experiencing joy and peace in your life, or a strong connection with the Source (God).
Our victim stories usually are based on circumstances and events we experience in the past, and we continue to use them to limit what we experience in our life now. For example:
Do you ever reminisce about any painful childhood experiences that you endured such as love or affection being withheld from you, being called negative names, being physically abused, or being abandoned, etc. If you are talking about these experiences with anyone other than a professional therapist / Life Coach or explaining how you used them to change your life, then you are playing the victim card.
When you start a new romantic relationship, do you tell war stories about your former lovers? If so, you’re trying to elicit sympathy; thus you are being a victim.
When someone asks how you are doing, do you start listing your body afflictions such as a headache, back pain, or other aches and pains? This is total victim-hood.
Do you believe that your financial results (i.e. the house you live in, you annual income, the balance in your bank account, etc.) are due to state of the economy, government programs, bad partners, your job, or any other outside factors? If so, you are seeking to be victimized because you are giving your power to external forces.
Do you still talk about money you lost in a business deal or investments in the past? What about how the value your house has declined over the few past years? Of course the only reason you are doing this is because you feel victimized.
All of these are examples of victim stories, and they can keep you trap in a lifestyle where you are just surviving instead of being prosperous and thriving.
If you don’t use any of the victim stories I discussed, and you are still not having all the prosperity and success you desire, take a moment and allow yourself to review all your reasons why you don’t have it. If you do this objectively, you’ll be amazed at how many stories you have once you begin paying attention.
Don’t criticize yourself or beat yourself up for having a story about it because we all have victim stories no matter how well we are doing in life. What’s important here, is that you finally come to see that your “poor me” story is nothing more than an incredible illusion maintained by your ego that keeps your trapped in your box you created for your life (your reality that limits what you experience in life). But please understand this, your ego is a survival mechanism, and it tries its best to keep you from changing. However, you have the power to take back control and live the life you truly desire.
The choice is yours to make.
As a co-creator of your reality, you have the power to make a new choice that would create a brand new reality in which your problem of lack no longer existed. The Law of Attraction is working 24/7 and is ready, willing and waiting to bring into your life everything belonging in the reality of your new choice.
So, what’s stopping you from committing to a new reality where lack does not exist and you embrace abundance and prosperity? I think you already know the answer; you are too attached to your victim’s role, and letting go of it can be difficult for most people.
Why are you attached?
You are attached because that victim is who you are for now. It is your identity and your role. In order to choose out of your victim’s role and into a powerful new YOU, your ego would have to relinquish control of your life. However, your ego will resist losing control because it thinks it is protecting you from danger.
But you are not your ego!
However, there is a solution to escaping this trap of your victim’s role, and it begins with the realization that you are not your ego. You are an individualization of God. Can you allow yourself to accept this principle? Once you’ve allowed yourself to be objective about the problem, you can begin the journey to take back control of from your ego and put your True Self back in charge of your life.
When your True Self is in charge of your life, prosperity and success will surely follow.

All too often, we unknowingly get stuck in life patterns that we have modeled from others people, the media, movies and books, and society. We follow certain career paths, get into familiar relationships, have recurring health issues, and even accept limits on what we could Be, Do and Have in our lives.
But what if God didn’t intend for us to have any of these limitations we place on our experiences in life?
What if our parents, religious leaders, teachers and society only gave us what they thought were possible?
What if they couldn’t teach us how to go beyond what they were able to achieve in their lives?
What if our bodies are designed to last for hundreds of years, yet we have accepted that our bodies are supposed to age and weaken starting in our fifties?
What if the facts and evidence for support aging are the result of our beliefs rather than our beliefs being the result of facts and evidence?
What if our beliefs about how much money we can have, how it comes to us, how our relationships must be, how we can live our lives are all based on other people’s limited thinking?
What if you could live your life by your own rules?
What would you change about your life if you knew you had no limits?
If your family has health patterns, and you just accepted that you will be subject to this because of genetics, what if you decided to accept being healthy instead?
What if you decided to consciously let go of any emotional pain, angers and hurt that you have been holding onto for years and chose to embrace love, compassion, and peace as your new emotional pattern?
What if you embraced the joy of abundance that is available to you and you could pursue activities you enjoy to do in life instead of remaining at a job that does not offer inner fulfillment?
Even if you don’t think you could earn money doing what you love, consider letting go of that belief and imagine what you would do if you could do anything you wanted for a living.
What would you want to contribute to the world? What inspires passion within you?
What if the slowing down of the economy is an opportunity for change to create roles for each of us to contribute in a new way?
What if money just flowed to you through unexpected sources instead of it only coming to you through your job and perhaps a job that you don’t really enjoy? What if money only comes to you this way because someone of authority told you a statement such as “You have to work hard for your money”, “Life is hard”, or “Stop dreaming and get a job”.
If you accepted that belief, then this is the way money comes to you.
If you arrived on planet Earth five minutes ago and you looked out at the vast opportunities that could be your heaven on earth, what rules would you give yourself?
What is stopping you from living from that reality now?
Realize that the major differences between a new reality and your old one is how much you believe that reality to be true and how much that reality has been practiced.
Realize that you can choose to let go of your old perspective by releasing the emotions that anchor it in place…and embrace a new perspective of Love, Peace and Hope.
What rules are you choosing to live by today?
Remember it’s your life. Ask yourself if you really want to get to the end of it only to discover that you didn’t have to live by the rules you were given.
You can change them today.
If you don’t know how, ask and it will be given. Seek and ye shall find.

Most people grew up with the familiar saying, “It is better to give than to receive”; however, very few people understand how this adage is blocking abundance from their lives.
Is it really better to give than it is to receive? The answer for me is NO! I say this for two reasons.
First of al, if you have this belief, you are probably blocking abundance from flowing into you life, and this is occurring because you have a hard time receiving. Think about it. How many times have you turned down compliments for something you did? Did you say something like “oh, it was nothing”? Or if a friend wants to compensate you for something you did for them, how often do you say “No, I couldn’t possibly accept you money or gift.” Have many times have seen a penny on the ground and refused to pick it up?
If any of these examples sound familiar, you may be blocking your abundance. If you refuse to receive what another person or the Universe is offering you, you are dishonoring that person because you are blocking his or her ability to give. If you consistently refuse to pick up pennies off the ground the Universe offers, you are training the Universe not to give it to you because a penny is money and it no different than a million dollars to the Universe.
Second of all, in order for you or someone to give, there must be a receiver to accept what is given because giving and receiving are two sides of the same coin and both are required. You can not have one without the other, and one is not better than the other.
Therefore, if you intend to live a prosperous life, you must be an excellent giver and an excellent receiver, and this is one of the primary differences between prosperous people and poor people.
Prosperous people are excellent receivers.
Poor people are poor receivers.
This is not a criticism of poor people because poor people (people who have a low level of prosperity) are not less intelligent, less capable, or even less motivated than prosperous people. They just are not open to the possibilities around them, and they are blocking the abundance from their lives. Without taking advantage of opportunities, it’s nearly impossible to grow and experience greater levels of prosperity in life.
So why, then, are most people poor receivers?
It occurs because they have accepted this meme that “it is better to give than receive”. A meme is like a mind virus that spreads easily from person to person and affects the level of prosperity and abundance that you experience. But if you trace this meme back to its original translation, you may be amazed what it really said. The real adage before it was changed to the current day translation was:
It is better to be in a position to give than in a position to have to receive.
The original adage changes the whole meaning of the meme, “it is better to give than receive”. Therefore, if you were inflected with this meme (limiting belief), you have been conditioned not to receive; however, you can reprogram you subconscious mind to willingly receive everything that comes into your life. By everything, I mean all the events and circumstances in our lives, even though that you designate as “bad”.
To reprogram yourself, do the following:
Using your closed hand, rub over your heart center in the middle of your chest in a clockwise motion, and repeat the following declaration:
I am choosing to an excellent giver and an excellent receiver.
Repeat this reprogramming technique through out the day until you subconscious mind has accepted this truth.
By reprogramming yourself to receive, you open yourself to the blessings of God (Universe) and allow abundance to flow into your life.
At the same time, continue to give unconditionally and with love because what you gives return back to you multiplied. Don’t just give money, but give of your time, energy, resources, knowledge, skills, and/or talents. I believe the more you give, the more you receive, and this is based on the universal Law of Giving and Receiving.
The Law of Giving and Receiving is one the greatest laws that you can implement to manifest prosperity when you consciously use it. If you wish to receive anything in your life, you first need to give it unconditionally from the heart. At the same time, you must be open to receiving it. Many times it will come from a different source than what you gave and it may come in a different form than you expect, but it will be returned. This law is based on spiritual and scientific teachings and principles.
From the spiritual teaching, the Law of Giving and Receiving is demonstrated as follows:
Whatever you sow (meaning whatever you plant, disseminate, disperse, or put out), you will also reap (meaning you will also receive, gain, harvest, accumulate, or get back). - Galatians 6:7
From the scientific teaching, the Law of Giving and Receiving is demonstrated as follows:
For every action (meaning for everything you do, every act, effort, or transaction), there will always be an equal or even opposite reaction (meaning there will be cause and effect or consequences and/or repercussions). -Isaac Newton’s Law of Motion.
So Give. Give. Give. And do so cheerfully and unconditionally. It is the energy behind the giving that matters so do not give grudgingly. The Law of Giving and Receiving guarantees that you shall receive plenty for what you give if you are open to receiving it.
Now there are some people who resist giving freely. Often some people decide not to give because they believe they do not have enough to give. They feel that if they give, they will have nothing left. This type of belief comes from a poverty consciousness.
From a spiritual perspective, if you do not sow, you will not reap. How can you receive what you desire, if you never give anything, and how can you receive anything if you are not open to receiving it?
From the scientific perspective, if you do nothing, nothing will happen. You must take action for something to occur because we live in a cause and effect world.
If you decide not to give for fear that there is not enough or fear of loss, you will never really experience the free flowing abundance in your life, whether it is money, joy, peace of mind, love, anything else you truly desire.
So, let today be the day that you change your level of prosperity by transforming your thoughts and renewing your mind. Open you heart to give freely and transform the mind to receive abundantly. When you do, you will experience a liberating awareness of abundance flowing in your life. You realize that you can give freely without fear of ever over extending yourself or experiencing lack and scarcity because you will experience joy, love, inner peace, and an increased level of prosperity.
